September 2007: KAI hires Mr. James F. Burns as Senior Corrosion Specialist

Kiefner & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that Mr. James F. Burns has joined our staff as a Senior Corrosion Specialist.  Jim, formerly with CC Technologies and Henkels & McCoy, has over 28 years of experience in corrosion control particularly in the application of cathodic protection to buried and submerged metallic structures.  He has managed and performed the work related to cathodic protection design, construction of cathodic protection systems, troubleshooting ineffective protection systems, static and dynamic stray current interference testing and mitigation, pipeline integrity work and training of client personnel.  Jim holds NACE International certification as a Corrosion Specialist and a Cathodic Protection Specialist.
